Review by hotel critic
From the moment we arrived at Miners Cottage, we were blown away by the exceptional level of service and attention to detail. the hosts, Ian and Chris, truly exceeded our high expectations by providing us with a warm welcome package that included freshly baked scones, bread, and milk. the cottage itself was immaculate and beautifully furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed to cook our meals. the sitting area was cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the nearby walks and attractions. the highlight for us was the upstairs lounge that opened out onto a balcony with breathtaking views of the countryside - a truly unforgettable experience. We also appreciated the peace and tranquility of the location, as well as the convenience of having the Miner's Arms pub next door for delicious meals.
